Christmas 2021 -- COOP Jednota TV ad with Duncho -- "Father Christmas and Santa Claus"

The plot: Both Father Christmas and Santa Claus arrive at the farmhouse at the same time.  Father Christmas uses snowshoes to walk from house to house, while Santa uses reindeer and a sleigh for transport.

For some reason, they decide to fight each other. They both throw their bags of toys into the sleigh, maybe to keep them out of the way as they fight.

Duncho (Dunčo) the Slovak Chuvach (Čuvač), barks at them, as a good LGD should, which frightens the reindeer, and the reindeer fly away with both bags of toys in the sleigh.  So the two stranded Santas are invited to join the family's dinner.

I think Mrázik means frost or frosty, as in Grandpa Frost. See wiki/Ded_Moroz and scroll down to see the development of the character--interesting.

About the family of Livestock Guardian Dogs...

“To this day flocks are guarded in the hills of Asia, Europe and Africa* by powerful, robust dogs that are neither clumsy nor pacific. Despite the distances that separate them these breeds have much in common, and the Kuvasz is a member of this extended sheepdog family.”

Dr. Buzády Tibor. 2002. Dogs of Hungary. Translated by Bernard Adams. Budapest, Hungary: Nóra Kiadó.  P. 100.
