A friend wrote, "Apparently, no one told the poor puppy that kuvasz are not supposed to retrieve or like to swim."
Nancy responded, "I'm waiting for the day when he figures this out. But since all his role models at the river are retrievers, he may not. Yesterday he went from fetching within a few yards of the shore to swimming around in circles, in deep water, trying to find a stick he'd lost. He found it."
