There are two Kuvasz in this photo, Fred and Ethel. Can you find them?
Paula, near Chicago, Illinois, shares her Kuvasz story.
So, a couple of evenings ago, my husband and I were taking Fred and Ethel for a walk after dark. An older woman was walking on the cross street toward the intersection, talking on the phone. She paused her telephone conversation, and asked us what kind of dogs they were. When we responded "Kuvasz," she exclaimed "No, let me see them, I'm Hungarian! I grew up with Kuvasz and Komondors." After a pet and a friendly chat, we were on our way again. First time that I have ever gotten that reaction. Most people don't even know that the breed exists.
