A Day in the Life -- This blog is about a day in the life of our beloved ancient Kuvasz living in today's modern world. This blog, in conjunction with KUVASZ FANCIERS OF AMERICA, is an independent service to all the Kuvasz of the world! My focus is on the Kuvasz, the traditional Hungarian dog still bred to ancient standards, as described by the FCI and traditional standards, not modern or non-Hungarian breed club rules. 2013 Hortobágy - Hungarian Sheepdogs Week, May 20-26, 2013

This show immediately follows the World Dog Show. The World Dog Show is being held May 15-19, and the Hungarian Sheepdogs Week is held May 20-26.

This is the third Kuvasz-inclusive dog show held in the Budapest area in May 2013:

- World Dog Show in Budapest, May 13-19

- Hungarian National Breeds World Cup in Gödöllo, May 17-18

- Kuvasz judging in Group 1 at the World Dog Show, May 19

- Hungarian Sheepdogs Exhibition in the Hortobágy, May 25.
