Great Pyrenees on "Pit Bulls and Parolees" TV show

Villalobos Rescue Center is in New Orleans.

Company Overview
Founded by Tia Maria Torres, Villalobos Rescue Center is a 501c3 registered charity focusing on rehabilitation and rescue of the American Pit Bull Terrier dog, with help from the parolees who work and care for the dogs.

"The show's mission, stated in voiceover during the show's opening credits by founder Tia Maria Torres, is twofold: to combat misconceptions about pit bulls and other similar dogs (often referred to as 'bully breeds'), and to provide employment and a stable transition for recent parolees who are trying to return to society."

Here's one of their success stories--but is a Pyr, not a Pit!

One of the employees at Villalobos adopted one of the rescue dogs that came in as an owner turn-in. This dog was not a pit bull, but rather a Great Pyrenees, which was named Sweet Tart. (The Pyr, of course, is a Kuvasz "cousin," one of the white livestock guardian breeds of Europe.)
